# Historical MacSurf runtime evidence — Mac OS 9.2.2

**Evidence class:** historical macMAKE development build
**Operating system:** Mac OS 9.2.2, PowerPC
**Application:** MacSurf browser
**Evidence record:** native MacSurf workspace status recorded 2026-10-05

A macMAKE development build produced a complete MacSurf application that was observed loading through the Code Fragment Manager and CodeWarrior MSL startup, reaching the application's `main`, creating its interface and event loop, and exercising HTTP, Open Transport, and TLS 1.3 HTTPS paths. The retained development record reports full and resumed TLS 1.3 handshakes against multiple hosts.

This is historical evidence for that application and development toolchain. The exact development executable revision, binary digest, and guest session date are not pinned in this public-safe summary. It is not evidence that the official macMAKE v0.1.0 executable has reproduced the MacSurf build or run. Extended stability with modern dynamic pages was still under investigation in the retained record.

The build used locally supplied Universal Interfaces and CodeWarrior MSL runtime files. macMAKE does not distribute those materials. No source code, SDK contents, private filesystem locations, or guest images are included in this report.

## Scope

The observation verifies the listed MacSurf startup and exercised browser functions on Mac OS 9.2.2. It does not establish that every application, API, SDK combination, or Classic Mac OS release is compatible, and it does not establish exact CodeWarrior output parity.
